Certain standard costs are associated with closing the sale of a home. Sellers and buyers customarily split these closing costs, as the sales contract specifies.
As the list below indicates, many of the costs result from getting your loan. At Anita Martinez-Trumm, we are highly experienced in residential mortgage lending, so we can compile a comprehensive report on costs related to your mortgage in your "Good Faith Estimate".
The Good Faith Estimate (GFE)
Soon after you submit your application, we'll give you a "Good Faith Estimate" of your costs. We base this closing cost estimate on our many years of past experience. Please note that while our GFEs are very accurate, we cannot always estimate your costs to the penny.
